Join the Library for a day of various railroad-themed activities for all ages!
All Ages Activities:
There will be an "N" Scale model train from the Omaha N-Trak Club on display in Meeting Room B from 9-5 Saturday, September 23, and 1:00-5:00 pm Sunday, September 24.
In our Makerspace, we'll be doing demonstrations of 3D printing with a "take home" of a train engine on the second floor from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
Adult Activities:
- Play the "Ticket to Ride" board game in Meeting Room D | 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Teen Activities: (Grades 6-12)
- Make railroad-themed cookies! | 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
- Ride the rails in the Oculus VR headset | 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
- Play the "Ticket to Ride" board game | 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Youth Activities: (Under 6th grade)
- Play family-friendly railroad-themed board games in Meeting Room A | 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
- Enjoy free play with the train tracks in the Treehouse 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
