Edge of Extinction #1: The Ark PlanMore Staff Picks +
I love a good post-apocalyptic tale, but it's getting harder and harder to find the good ones under the mountain of titles that are coming out every month. And, it's getting increasingly difficult to find a new hook to grab me in these types of stories...but this dinosaur tale fit the bill. I loved the idea of dinosaurs being cloned, reintroduced to the world...and then a dinosaur disease strikes, killing off 99% of the population. That is a fresh idea I've never heard of before as it relates to dinosaurs and cloning: the fact that we could be bringing back their bacteria and diseases along with their serrated teeth and bony armored plates. This is an excellent adventure for children who love a mix of dinosaurs, action and mystery.
