Snow Is Slowing Church Completion
Snow, especially on the roof of the new First Church of the Nazarene sanctuary, is slowing its completion. Even so, an early spring completion is still their goal. As soon as the roof of the structure is again free of snow, volunteers of the congregation will work evenings under lights to continue installation of eave trim so that shingling can begin on the roof's south slope. Contractors are now working on the inside of the building, applying ceiling sheet rock, and church volunteers are following up by filling the 10-inch space between the ceiling and the roof with fireproof cellulose.
