National Library Week Design a Button Contest

The Council Bluffs Public Library joins libraries nationwide to celebrate National Library Week April 8-14, 2018. As a part of our celebration, we want to recognize what makes our Library so great–YOU!

The Youth Services Department loves to see the creativity of our youngest library users. We invite children ages preschool through 5th grade to design a button that shows us what the library means to you. The contest deadline is Monday, April 2nd. Entries should be returned to the Council Bluffs Public Library Youth Services Department.

Winners from each division: Preschool, grades Kindergarten, 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 will be chosen based on creativity, neatness, correct spelling, and library appropriateness. And don’t forget to make it colorful!

Each winner’s art will be made into buttons available to Library patrons during National Library Week.
