75 Years to Women’s Suffrage with Pippa White

Sep 22, 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Conference Room B Council Bluffs Public Library

Presented by Pippa White of One’s Company.

As we celebrate 100 years of Women’s Suffrage in the United States this year, come and learn about the extraordinary women who worked for decades to attain what they considered was not a privilege, but a right.

This one-woman performance combines theater, storytelling and history. Pippa White makes history come alive. Come and hear the ladies speak in their own words: Susan B. Anthony, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Lecretia Mott, Lucy Stone, Alice Paul and more. Their stories are crafted from the letters, diaries, and memoirs of real people who witnessed and lived history.

This will be a free ZOOM program and is open to the public. Watch at the library with us, or register here to view it from home with ZOOM!

Due to COVID restrictions, a face mask and social distancing are required for in-person attendees. Registration is required to attend. To sign up, contact the Reference Desk at 712-323-7553, ext. 2.
