Every Color Has a Story: History on the Palette

Jun 29, 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Meeting Room B

Do you know the history of the colors in your world? All the tints, hues, dyes and shades of the colors around you can be traced back to a specific point in history – and the stories they tell are amazing! Join librarian and historian Laura Keyes on this colorful journey into the history of color.

Laura Keyes is a librarian in Illinois. She enjoys researching literary symbolism and has been portraying historic women and lecturing on historic topics since 2008.

This is a virtual event. Contact the Reference desk to view with us in Meeting Room B, or pre-register here to view from home via ZOOM.
