Description

Join historian Troy Stolp and discover Manuel Lisa, the first of the fur trappers to come out of St. Louis.

He made his way up the Missouri and built a resident trading station in this area. Manuel became a U.S. Indian agent in 1816 and helped to keep the British from gaining a foothold into the interior of the continent.
