From Here to There: Lessons Learned Traveling from the Heartland to the Ends of the Earth

Suzanne Gucciardo visited many remote and hard to reach places on all seven continents B.C. – Before COVID. She has seen firsthand, how different societies face changing conditions brought on by resource depletion and developing technologies. This has led to a greater appreciation of how fortunate US citizens are in comparison. Tips on how to be a good traveler, and how both the traveler and host can benefit from a shared encounter, grew out of her experiences.
