Description
If you’ve ever missed out on what was said during a telephone call – you no longer need to. Now you can see word-for-word what is said to you throughout your phone conversation. It’s called Captioned Telephone or CapTel.
Relay Iowa is a program of the Iowa Utilities Board. Telecommunications Relay Service (TRS) provides full telephone accessibility to people who are deaf, hard of hearing, deaf-blind or have difficulty speaking over a Text Telephone (TTY) or verbally to hearing parties. Specially-trained Communication Assistants (CAs) process relay calls and stay on the line to confidentially relay conversations.
Join us for a free presentation! Find out if a CapTel phone is right for you and how you can take advantage of Captioned Telephone service, which is available at no-cost.*
This program is free and open to the public.
* Equipment and standard long distance charges may apply.
