Making its home in one of Omaha’s most unique treasures, Union Station, the Durham Museum offers a fascinating look at the history of our region and offers a broad range of traveling exhibits covering subjects ranging from history and culture to science, industry, and more through their affiliation with the Smithsonian Institution and strong ties with the Library of Congress, National Archives and the Field Museum.

A family pass to the Durham Museum is available to reserve. Admits 2 adults and dependent children under 18 from the same household or up to 4 grandchildren. A library pass is valid for general admission only. Passes are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. A printed or digital reservation pass (shown on your device screen) along with your Council Bluffs Library Card is required for entry.

How It Works
  • Council Bluffs Public Library cardholders 18 and older with valid, non-expired cards in good standing may reserve a pass.
  • Museum hours are subject to change, please confirm hours and open dates with the museum website or by phone prior to your visit.
  • A printed or digital pass (shown on your device screen) along with your Council Bluffs Public Library Card is required for entry. Please be sure your pass displays a membership number. An email is required for a digital pass reservation. Printed passes can be reserved at the library front Circulation desk, or from home.
  • If you cannot use your reservation on the date you reserved, call the library at 712-323-7553, option 2. Must be canceled at a minimum 1 day in advance.
