Make a difference in the Council Bluffs community by making a monetary donation to the library.  The Council Bluffs Public Library is recognized as a primary community resource for educational support, self-directed learning, cultural development, advancing literacies, and building public prosperity and well-being.  It is our mission to serve the information and resource needs of a diverse and growing community, and to achieve that mission we rely on generous support of people like you.

Gifts and memorials in all formats for the library collection are accepted in accordance with the Library Collection Management Policy. The library reserves the right of acceptance, rejection, and disposition of all gifts and donations and does not place any valuation on any such donations…

Monetary Donations

A monetary gift to the Council Bluffs Public Library for a loved one is a meaningful way to honor or that person.  Tribute gifts can be a perfect birthday, wedding, or holiday gift for the person who has everything.

When you make a tribute or memorial gift, the Council Bluffs Public Library will send a letter to the recipient or the recipient’s family or loved one to let them know about your gift.  The amount of your gift is not disclosed.  We will also send an acknowledgement to you as the donor, which can be used as a tax receipt.
