Parking
Metered parking is available in the Library’s parking lot, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. In addition to the 42 metered spots in the Library’s parking lot, there are also metered spots on the streets surrounding the Library.
Meters with 2-hour limits are $0.50/hour. Meters with 10-hour limits are $0.25/hour.
Meters can be paid with quarters, dimes, or nickels. They can also be paid online or by using the Passport Parking app, available through Google Play and the Apple App Store.
Bike Racks & Bike Locks
Bicycle racks are available on either side of the pergola outside the library entrance.
If you rode your bike to the Library but do not have a way to lock it up, you can check out a bike lock with your library account.
Bike locks are available at the first floor Circulation Desk.
Food & Drink
Per the Behavior Code Policy, food in the library’s public areas is limited to convenience snacks. Convenience snacks are defined as dry snacks that have not been heated or refrigerated. Please see signage around the building as some departments have designated public eating areas.
Beverages are allowed in the library, but lids are required. Staff may ask you not to have beverages near computers or other electronic equipment.
Hot or cold foods are allowed in library meeting rooms with prior staff approval. Please let staff know when booking a room if food will be part of your booking. In general, hot food is only allowed in first floor meeting rooms.
Eating anywhere in the library is a privilege that may be revoked if individuals do not clean up after themselves.

- Wednesday, November 26, 2025 - Library closes at 5:00 p.m. for Thanksgiving Eve
