Community Resources

The American Red Cross shelters, feeds and provides emotional support to victims of disasters; supplies about 40 percent of the nation's blood; teaches skills that save lives; provides international humanitarian aid; and supports military members and their families. 

Habitat Council Bluffs provides several services:

Transitional living and non-congregate shelter programs for veterans to provide assistance with trauma recovery, PTSD, financial hardships, and other life events.

Resources for Veterans health care, benefits, and cemeteries.

Provides assistance with County, State, and Federal VA benefits.

Food Pantry available Monday-Friday for Veterans. Call for appointment (712-328-5797)
