Program Description

Event Details

June isn’t the end of planting season in Zone 5A/6B — it’s the beginning of your fall strategy. In this two-hour class, you’ll learn how to count backward from our October frost date and choose crops that will thrive in the remaining 90–110 growing days. We’ll cover succession planting, short-season varieties, fall crop timing, and how to manage heat while establishing new seedlings. Discover what can still be planted right now — and what to skip — so you don’t waste time, space, or seed. You’ll leave with a zone-specific planting roadmap designed to extend your harvest well beyond summer. If you want a productive garden through September and October (and, weather-permitting, even into NOVEMBER), this class will show you exactly how to make it happen.

Registration required.
