2026 marks the 250th birthday of the United States and the Council Bluffs Public Library invites you to be a part of the celebration of America 250! 

Please join us on Tuesday, May 19 as award-winning author and teacher Don Hickey presents an illustrated lecture on Paul Revere's Ride, that remarkable moment in history that led to "the shot heard 'round the world," touching off the American Revolution.  

This American history program is free and open to the public.
