If you utilize Interlibrary Loan to borrow materials from other libraries, you may notice increased time for items to get here. That is because there are state-wide changes to IA Shares that affect Interlibrary Loan delivery.
IA Shares is a statewide delivery service program that connects all public libraries in Iowa and the State Library. Changes in funding allocated to the State Library by the Institute of Museum and Library Services have resulted in IA Shares delivery service to be reduced to once per week.
Please be patient as items requested through Interlibrary Loan will likely take more time to be received and processed.
