Join us in celebrating Día de los Muertos with a Community Ofrenda created by the Spanish for Spanish Speakers student group from Thomas Jefferson High School.
October 7 – November 1
Could you bring a photo of a loved one you'd like to remember to the Youth Desk? While you wait, we'll make a color copy and return the original to you. The copy will be placed on our ofrenda.
You're also welcome to contribute store-bought, pre-packaged, canned, or boxed food items to accompany your photo. All food donations will go to a local food pantry. (Please no homemade or opened food items or beverages.)
If you don't have a photo, you can write your loved one's name on a monarch memorial, which will be added to the ofrenda. Let's honor those we've lost and support our community together.
