April 9, 2024 is National Library Workers Day.

This year to celebrate, we're picking a name for our new employee, the sorting machine, and we want the community's help!

As of May 2nd, 2024, we have given away our last Opera Omaha ticket. We will announce in the future when we have another giveaway. 

Every few years, the Council Bluffs Public Library adopts a new strategic plan.

Update 2/20/24: At this moment, the book return is open and ready for use!

The 24 hour outside book return will be closed from February 12 to February 20. During this time please return library materials inside the library.

Games are a fun and motivating way to learn something new!

La Biblioteca Pública de Council Bluffs y el Teatro Rose se han unido para ofrecer entradas gratuitas para cualquier espectáculo de temporada regular en su teatro durante el resto de la temporada 2023-24.

Returning April 1, 2024. We will have a limited quantity of passes to give to patrons for free admission to the Henry Doorly Zoo. Passes must be used by May 31, 2024.

Free tickets are available to The Rose Theater performances!

Council Bluffs Public Library and The Rose Theater are teaming up to offer free tickets to any regular season show at their theater for the rest of the 2023-24 season.

For a limited time, visit the online Anytime Tees store to purchase Council Bluffs Public Library t-shirts, tote bags, hoodies, sweatshirts, and long sleeve shirts.

Apparel will be available in various colors. Tote bags will be offered in tan and teal.
